Technology, travel, and trade have created a global neighborhood in which
disease knows no borders.
Organizers of the Pacific Health Summit believe the issues facing
global health care must be examined in order to develop realistic policy solutions that change
how disease is detected and treated worldwide.
Therefore, they have created the Summit to place
a new, global focus on early detection as the most critical, economically viable and successful
approach to the treatment of disease.
Summit organizers are convening the world’s best minds in science, medical practice and policy
to mobilize resources, eliminate barriers and confront the global public health challenges we
face today and anticipate in the future.
